When the chemical "azodicarbonamide" is baked in bread, it produces the "carcinogen urethane" It's in some of Subway, Starbucks, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Wendy's, Arby's and Jack in the Box products, 9-grain wheat, Italian white and sourdough breads, Thomas English muffins and Dunkin' Donuts bakery items. Subway announced plans to remove the ingredient from its bread but did not say when. At Starbucks, a shift is already underway.

Thanks to Professor Gilles-Eric Seralini, the first scientist to ever complete a full lifetime study on GMO crops, a full two-year lifelong assessment as compared to Monsanto's own tests that were always limited to no more than 90 days. Any normal food ingredient or additive is generally tested fairly stringently in most countries before approval, however, starting with President George H.W. Bush's administration's decision to declare GMOs "substantially equivalent" with no real research being done has allowed them to skate through the regulatory process.

Our analysis of pork-chop and ground-pork samples from around the U.S. found that yersinia enterocolitica, a bacterium that can cause fever, diarrhea, and abdominal pain, was widespread. Some samples harbored other potentially harmful bacteria, including salmonella. And there are more reasons to be concerned about "the other white meat."

As for that "fresh cracked egg," it's prepared with an ingredient called liquid margarine, which is made of liquid soybean oil and hydrogenated cottonseed and soybean oils, water, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, salt, etc. In other words, it's an egg that's cooked in trans fat. Few Americans are under any delusions that the bacon (processed with sodium nitrite) and the cheese (labeled as "pasteurized process American cheese") on the Egg McMuffin are healthy. Read more:
